Sarah Clapper recently held the title of Miss Ohio 2017 and competed for the title of Miss America, where she received the 2018 Women in Business Award. She is a Summa Cum Laude graduate of The Ohio State University with her Bachelor of Science degree in Architecture with Honors and Research Distinction. While competing in the Miss America Organization, Sarah earned over $37,500 in scholarships, which finished paying off her students loans. Sarah’s passion lies in empowering individuals to define their self-worth based on deeper purpose and identity in an attempt to prepare students and young adults for the challenge of pivotal life-changing moments. She has partnered with Growing Leaders, a global non-profit organization that works to equip students and young adults with character and leadership skills through Habitudes - an image based learning curriculum, and travels the country speaking on the importance of living by values and adding value to others. Sarah currently is employed by Berardi Partners, Inc. a multi-disciplinary architecture firm located in Columbus, Ohio where she serves as the Marketing and Business Development Manager in addition to serving as the Vice President of Business Development for the Eastern Headquarters of Calichi Design Group.
Annalie Janse van Rensburg
Annalie was called to full time ministry in 1994. She answered the call and started doing door to door evangelism. The information she gained during the house visitations motivated her to start a Sunday School, which led to Sunday Services, planting of the 1st church (2 more were planted later), Sport Ministry and Soup Kitchen. The need for Pre-Schools touched her heart and today, 25 years later the 6 Pre-Schools (including Shamwari4Jesus) are still running and a 1000’s of kids were fed and were taught about Jesus, their Savior through the years. The impact will be seen in Heaven. Personally, I see myself as a slave for Christ and the people He loves. I fix my eyes on Him, otherwise the sea of brokenness of the world overwhelms me. Family-wise I am a daughter, sister, widow, mother and grandmother.
